For literature, we leaned a lot on the Oxford Handbook of Ellipsis (2018), particularly the articles Ellipsis and Discourse (Andrew Kehler), Gapping and Stripping (Kyle Johnson), Nominal Ellipsis (Andrés Saab), and Sluicing and its Subtypes (Luis Vicente).
